10 years have gone after the planting of the 1st tree for the people's medicinal tree garden. A specialmeeting of the executive committee of The National Library was met for the purpose of celebrating the 10th anniversary of peoples tree garden. The president and secretary of Nattuvettam - Gramasakyam are consecutively the Vice president and President of the Library at present. It was decided to create a 'star botanic garden' in 2 acres of in the MVIP muck dumped yard near by thetunnel inlet in the memory of the 10th anniversary. The committee also decided to extent this project to more places including urban areas. such a vast expansion of the project wants much attention and concentration. NALPA TREE has its own limits to take up such a big venture which needs a systematic approach and functioning. so the Library and Nalpa Tree decided to support the movement from outside as a sister organization.
That is how the movement assumed an organised form in the name of TREE and registered as an independant NGO in the most auspicious moment of the century 12-12-12 at 12 minutes and 12 seconds Past 12 noon.

Homosapien-the great destructor!
Alas! Human the two legged homosapien who pretend as the boss of this universe is the only animal behind this tragedy! No other animals are to blame. It is the never ending greed or lust that made him blind to cut the sitting branch of his tree!! Each and every one has his own share in it and has the bounden duty to pay back or give back to heal, preserve and enrich the environment without which there is no hope for the human and wild. we have responsibility to hand over a more livable earth to the coming generations.
