Planted baboo in Muvattupuzha and discovered India’s only “tree ambulance” – anyone can report a tree in trouble, & the tree doctor rushes over to give life-saving attention or perform emergency surgery!

A group of tree lovers from Pandappilly near Muvattupuzha, Ernakulam district, under Team for Rural Ecological Equilibrium, have started a unique idea — an ambulance to rescue trees.

The Nalpamara Kappalkunnu is a ship-shaped garden part of environmental initiative of TREE- MVIP ( as Peoples Botanic Gardens). This place has few gardens with many trees and plants, few benches and plenty of fresh air.

Star botanic garden is a group of country’s 27 basic Ayurvedic trees; most of them are in the threat of extinction. They are specially based on 27 astrological stars.
